Based on the method of construction of 12th century Ethiopian churches, the architecture can be used as a gathering place and for a contemplative walkthrough enabling the viewer to experience the phenomenon of the horizon.

„How to world“ is based on film-footage captured on a small boat in the mediterranean. Based on the format of subtitles in film, words and fragments of sentences appear on the screen, narrating the idea of a slow transition into a subtly different world.

 The industrial mass product of the plastic fibre net, manufactured in uncountable numbers, is a network obscuring its network of production. The ethics of its coming into place -relationships in between humans - is rendered invisible. A product disintegrating fast in the heat of the sun. The object stripped of its history holds a bee swarm’s finding over the past year. In the honeycomb resides the potential for the renewal of the bee-state.

Magnetism of an Open Hand

A swarm of wasps chose a crystal in a cave to build their nest onto. Findings in the cave show a magnetic field is present there. Could it be, that a new mutated swarm was created in the cave that is released into the world from here ?

Produced by a meditative process of slowly dripping the wax of candles onto a water surface, each drop, an element of chance, forms an assemblage of a mass of unique beads constituting a stable yet fragile object: A bowl that is able to hold things and liquids in a world of radical individuation.

 

 

 


 

   



 

 

Geometric Love (Glass Opposite)

Projected on the glass facade of the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin, two bodies move in a choreography based on a geometric function, while filming each other. They train intuitive collaboration on the problem of moving together through space and test the icon of transparency as a site of future transformation.
